ECARIS is aimed at developing educational activity programmes to improve the skills and knowledge of the carer
providing support so to address the repeated daily obligations of people living with kidney disease
and the care relationship between carers and kidney patients.

In detail, the expected outcomes are:

ME AND MY CARER REPORT
The document r collects the needs and experiences of
families with a caring role in Greece, Italy, Spain and Denmark, through consultations conducted by partners to informal carers of kidney patients and patients themselves. The questions explore how caring can have a different impact on carers of different countries, the types of support available, the role of education in wellbeing and coping. The report, while providing new qualitative inputs to the research on family relationships coping strategies and educational needs in families with a caring role for kidney patients will also contribute to informing the structure of the training material and curriculum.

A manual and related learning materials for the delivering of a blended (face to face and online) learning course to support informal carers of patients with cronic kidney disease.

A report aimed to summarize the lessons learned from the piloting and the results achieved and also to provide guidance to other stakeholders willing to mainstream the training programme in other countries or region or to adapt it to other target groups.
